Extension Activities in Association with Health Care Centres
Vivekananda Institute of Management Studies (VIMS) has entered into meaningful Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and associated with few reputed healthcare institutions such as Kumaran Hospitals, Royal Care Hospitals, Rao Hospital, PSG Hospital, Muthu’s Hospital, and Kovilpalayam Primary Health Centre. Through these strategic partnerships, the institute extends essential healthcare services to the local community completely free of cost, reflecting its strong commitment to social responsibility and community well-being.
As part of these initiatives, VIMS regularly organises free medical check-ups, eye screening camps, and blood donation drives. These programs not only provide accessible healthcare to underserved groups but also encourage students and staff to actively participate in socially impactful activities, thereby nurturing a culture of empathy, service, and civic responsibility within the institution.
