MAT Exam 2025 – Complete Details

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is one of India’s most popular national-level entrance exams for MBA and PGDM admissions to over 600 B-schools across India. Approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, MAT is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) four times a year – in February, May, September, and December. Its wide acceptance and flexible modes make it a top choice for thousands of MBA aspirants.

Eligibility

  • Any student with any undergraduate degree
  • Final year students of any degree program

Step-by-Step MAT Registration Process:

  1. Visit mat.aima.in
  2. Select MAT Exam 2025 Registration and enter basic details.
  3. Enter OTP received in phone for verification
  4. Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature.
  5. Pay the MAT application fee online using debit card or net banking.
  6. Select exam mode (PBT/CBT) and two cities.

MAT Exam Fees

The mat exam fees depend on the number of modes you choose:

 Single Mode (Paper-Based Test or Computer-Based Test): INR 2,200

Both modes (Paper-Based Test or Computer-Based Test): INR 3,800

MAT Exam Syllabus:

  1. Language Comprehension – Verb, Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Adverb, Antonyms & Synonyms, One Word Substitution, Idioms/Phrases, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Correction, Para Jumble and Reading Comprehension.
  2. Mathematical Skills – Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, Trigonometry, modern maths and Mensuration.
  3. Data Analysis & Sufficiency – Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency. Topics to study include Line Graph, Bar Graph, Caselet, Pie Chart, Data Comparison, Quantitative Comparison and Data Sufficiency.
  4. Intelligence & Critical Reasoning – Logical reasoning, analytical puzzles
  5. Indian & Global Environment – Current affairs, business news
